A few corrections:
a. Cumin and garlic aren't optional. They are crucial.
b. soaked sundried tomatoes, herbs, capers, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, pepper - aren't.
But the real secret is to use superb tahini, and much of it. Most people use whatever tahini they can lay hands on, and usually very little of it. Look for a Lebanese or Greek variety, preferably with a light color.

Hello! You can also find healthy recipes over at my blog http://stephchows.blogspot.com/
It’s about recipes that I’ve made up/ changed up to make healthy. My specialties are also “better for you” and “good for you” dessert. Almost all of the recipes are also fast and easy. I add recipes as I make things and I LOVE to cook and bake so I’m always updating it! I hope you enjoy it!

You're welcome, and glad you like it.

Purple carrots -- now I'm intrigued. I'm going to have to try them. Are they less sweet than orange carrots? I usually steam all my veggies but maybe I will bake them next time.

It's nice to hear from a fellow BloodType Dieter. Glad to hear you are doing great combining it with a Paleo diet. I'm an O, and now that Dr. D'Adamo's new book, The GenoType Diet is out, I've discovered I'm in the hunter genotype.

Hope you have continued success on the diet.

I forgot to say I used purple carrots instead and all organic ingredients. They taste better and I read that purple carrots were around longer than orange carrots, well the taste convinced me. I made the recipe with orange carrots before and definitely tasted the difference. Also instead of onion powder I baked half an onion in the oven. I'm on Paleo diet and don't use processed anything. Bottled water instead of tap.

More importantly instead of steaming, I baked. I wrapped carrots, beets and onions in aluminum foil and baked for 1/2 hour. All the flavor left in tact.
Thank you thank you, I love this recipe!!!!

We deserve the right to choose weather or not we want to eat cloned meat and or dairy products. I suggest that everyone steers toward only organic safe foods. That is the wise choice.
