Say NO to the Mandatory Pasteurization of Almonds!
I was very upset to learn that starting September of 2007 we will have no more raw almonds. It will become a Federal rule that makes pasteurization of almonds mandatory. There are many people who rely on nutrient rich almonds as a daily part of their diet. Don’t let your raw foods be compromised. Use this link to sign the petition against the rule: http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/mandatory-almond-pasteurization-is-wrong.html

Do not pasturize our Almonds! Do not kill the natural enzymes they contain! You had two incidents in 5 years of Salmenella and you want to pasturize???? I think you’d better use our USDA and FDA resources on that Diabetic drug that has not been tested which has been used for over 8 years by diabetics and it is not safe. You say you don’t have the resources to test it….well you are wasting our USDA and FDA resources on the pasturizing almonds legislation. Get it together USDA and FDA or I will take my pension out of the country and live in peace without your regulations. Find another way to control the population. Maybe we should let people drink and drive again, then you’d have some population control.

This is wrong. This is tampering with our food supply. Repeal or stop the law.
I also feed squirrels, who have been known to communicate with an animal communicator, saying, “Do you have any almonds?”
